An Abstract Point of View

As a California artist, I have created many neoimpressionistic views of the world around me. I have recently added a new approach to my body of work. I am now working in abstracts and enjoying the new freedom that this direction allows. With abstracts, the artist puts what is inside into his or her work. I find that my work takes on a life of its own as I paint. I have also expanded into the area of mixed media, using collage, watercolor, and acrylic to create my pieces. I am hoping that the viewer brings his own interpretation to my work. I am even hesitant to name the pieces because I may be directing the viewer to see the work in a proscribed way. I would love to hear from you, and learn what you think of my paintings. You can see all of my work on my website: www.triciastudio.com.
